53A.081 ANNUAL REPORT AND INVESTIGATIONS.

Subdivision 1.Annual report.

On or before April 30, a licensee shall file an annual report with the commissioner for the previous calendar year. The report must contain information that the commissioner may reasonably require concerning, and for the purpose of examining, the business and operations of each licensed currency exchange.

Subd. 2.Investigation.

The commissioner may at any time investigate the currency exchange business of any licensee and of every person, partnership, association, and corporation engaged in the business of operating a currency exchange in the manner provided under section 45.027.

Subd. 3.Fees and expenses.

The licensee shall pay the costs of an examination or investigation in the manner provided under section 60A.03, subdivision 5.

Subd. 4.Classification of data.

Financial information on individuals and businesses that is submitted to the commissioner in the annual report under subdivision 1 are private data on individuals or nonpublic data.
