Depositions, how certified and to whom delivered.

492.540. The officer taking such depositions shall attachthereto his certificate, stating the time and place when andwhere such depositions were taken, that the witnesses were dulysworn as to the truth of their depositions, and that theysubscribed the same, and shall enclose them, together with thecommission and the evidence of notice; and the whole, beingcarefully sealed up, shall be delivered by the officer to therecorder of the county in which the suit is pending, or in whichthe property or matter is situate or belongs, to which suchdepositions relate.
