Punishment for accepting rebates.

493.140. Any officer, attorney or person who shall collect,retain or enjoy, and any person who shall give to any suchofficer, attorney or person, any rebate or pecuniary benefit, asdesignated in section 493.130 herein, shall be guilty of amisdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punished byimprisonment in the county jail for a term not exceeding oneyear, or by fine not exceeding one thousand dollars, or by bothsuch fine and imprisonment.
