Service of notices, how and by whom made.

515.100. All notices required to be given by the referees orothers, in the progress of a cause, shall be served by readingthe same or delivering a copy to the person to be notified, andmay be served by the sheriff or other officer authorized to serveprocess, whose return shall be evidence of the facts thereinstated.
