University to hire employees--salaries and expenses paid, how.

262.560. The university shall have the responsibility andauthority to employ such persons as it deems necessary and properfor the conduct of extension work and shall prescribe and assigntheir duties and provide for the compensation and expensesincurred in the discharge of their duties and shall provide forthe establishment and maintenance of proper offices, equipment,and supplies therefor, provided that, in counties having acouncil, the council shall pay such salaries and expenses asshall be assigned to it in the financial budget.
