Department of agriculture--powers and duties.

263.507. The department may carry out programs to suppress oreradicate the boll weevil in this state. The department may cooperate withany agency of the federal government, any state, any other agency in thisstate, or any person engaged in growing, processing, marketing, or handlingcotton, or any group of such persons in this state, in programs toeffectuate the purposes of sections 263.500 to 263.537 and may enter intowritten agreements to effectuate such purposes. Such agreements mayprovide for cost sharing, and for division of duties and responsibilitiesunder sections 263.500 to 263.537 and may include other provisionsgenerally to effectuate the purposes of sections 263.500 to 263.537.
