Referendum defeated--organization may call otherreferendums--assessment retention to be subject to vote everyten years.

263.531. 1. In the event any referendum conducted under sections263.500 to 263.537 fails to receive the required number of affirmativevotes, the certified organization may, with the consent of the departmentbe authorized to call other referendums.

2. After the passage of any referendum, the eligible voters shall beallowed, by the subsequent referendums, at least every ten years, to voteon whether to continue their assessments.

3. All the requirements for an initial referendum shall be met insubsequent referendums.
