Inspectors, qualifications, compensation.

264.031. Every person appointed by the director as an apiaryinspector shall be a practical beekeeper who before hisappointment shall furnish the director with satisfactory evidencethat he possesses a practical knowledge of beekeeping and isfamiliar with the diagnosis and treatment of bee diseases or thathe is a graduate of an agricultural college with qualifyingtraining in apiculture. The director shall fix reasonablecompensation for all employees and contract employees consideringthe duties performed and the available appropriations.
