Anhydrous ammonia, rules and standards for equipment andhandling--director's duties.

266.355. Unless provided for by federal law, rule orregulation, the director of the department of agriculture shallpromulgate, pursuant to chapter 536, RSMo, and enforceregulations setting forth minimum general standards covering thedesign, construction, location, installation, and operation ofequipment for storing, handling, transporting by tank truck, tanktrailer, tank car and utilizing anhydrous ammonia. Theprovisions of this section shall not apply to equipment which isin use for storing anhydrous ammonia as of September 28, 1983,and which is found by the department to be in substantialcompliance with generally accepted standards of safety regardinglife and property.
