Compensation of veterinarian and deputies.

267.060. The state veterinarian, deputy state veterinariansand livestock inspectors, shall receive salaries fixed by thestate director of agriculture and necessary traveling expenses inthe discharge of official duties, payable out of the fundsprovided for the maintenance of the veterinary service. Thestate veterinarian, deputies and livestock inspectors shall eachrender an itemized account to the said director of agriculture ofall the traveling and incidental expenses incurred in workingunder this law. Said account or accounts shall be audited, andif found correct, shall be allowed as is now or may hereafter beprovided by law.
