Director may assist in enforcement, authorized employees' powers.

269.023. 1. The director shall have the power to authorizecertain employees of the department or employees of the UnitedStates Department of Agriculture to assist in the enforcement ofthis chapter.

2. In connection with such enforcement, such authorizedemployees may intercept, stop and detain for official inspectionor inquiry any vehicle suspected of being used for thetransportation of dead animals except for wildlife taken underthe Missouri wildlife code in this state. Such authorizedemployees may use a red flashing light to aid them in stoppingsuch vehicles.
