Proof entered on docket, certification.

271.140. The associate circuit judge shall enter such proofon his docket, and, within ten days thereafter, certify to thecounty clerk that such proof has been made; but if the appraisedvalue, at the time of the posting, be less than seven dollars, itshall not be necessary for the associate circuit judge to forwardsuch certificate to the clerk, but the proof shall, nevertheless,be entered on his docket.
