Responsibility of collector.

271.230. The county collector shall be responsible on hisbond for the faithful collection and payment into the countytreasury of all moneys charged against any person in favor of thecounty school fund, according to the provisions of the stray law,and shall collect and account for the same in the same manner asfor state and county taxes, and no property of the taker-up shallbe exempt from sale in the collection of the amount with which hestands charged, till he has complied with the provisions of thischapter.
