275.370. 1. The commodity merchandising council shall:
(1) Elect a chairman and any other officers as is considereddesirable;
(2) Authorize the director with the approval of the councilto expend a budgeted amount of the commodity councilmerchandising fund in the administration of the commoditymerchandising program and in the collection of commoditymerchandising fees;
(3) Perform such other duties as may be prescribed in thecommodity merchandising program.
2. The director shall be guided by the advice,recommendations and assistance of the commodity merchandisingcouncil in the collection of funds, audits and refunds associatedwith the commodity merchandising program.
