278.300. If a soil and water conservation district is disestablishedpursuant to section 278.150, the state soil and water districts commissionshall have the same responsibilities as the soil and water conservationdistrict with respect to formation, consolidation and disestablishment ofany watershed district or portion thereof, organized within the boundariesof such soil and water conservation districts. In all other matters aftera district is disestablished, the commission shall act in an advisorycapacity to the watershed district board in lieu of the soil and waterdistrict board.
