Permits for curb loading zones.

300.490. The city traffic engineer shall not designate orsign any curb loading zone upon special request of any personunless such person makes application for a permit for such zoneand for two signs to indicate the ends of each such zone. Thecity traffic engineer upon granting a permit and issuing suchsigns shall collect from the applicant and deposit in the citytreasury a service fee of ten dollars per year or fractionthereof and may by general regulations impose conditions upon theuse of such signs and for reimbursement of the city for the valuethereof in the event of their loss or damage and their return inthe event of misuse or upon expiration of permit. Every suchpermit shall expire at the end of one year.
