Uniform traffic ticket to be issued when vehicle illegally parked orstopped.

300.585. Whenever any motor vehicle without driver is found parked orstopped in violation of any of the restrictions imposed by ordinance of thecity or by state law, the officer finding such vehicle shall take itsregistration number and may take any other information displayed on thevehicle which may identify its user, and shall conspicuously affix to suchvehicle a uniform traffic ticket or other citation for the driver to answerto the charge against him within seven days during the hours and at a placespecified in the traffic ticket.
