Registration fees--penalty for delinquency.

301.050. All registration fees shall be payable to thedirector of revenue and shall accompany the application forregistration. A penalty fee of five dollars shall be paid on alldelinquent registrations. Any motor vehicle on which the annualregistration fee falls due prior to September 1, 1984, and whichis delinquent shall thereafter be registered by the department ofrevenue to renew that annual registration at the fee in effectwhen the annual registration was due plus the penalty provided inthis section.
