301.275. The commission may require such reports from ownersand operators of motor vehicles as may be useful to assist thecommission in performing its duties under sections 301.271 to301.279. Such reports shall furnish such information as may berequired by the commission and shall cover such periods and bemade at such time or times as the commission may direct and shallbe in the form prescribed by the commission and shall be verifiedby the person making such report or by the president, vicepresident, secretary or other responsible officer or employee ofa corporation or association or by a partner or a responsibleemployee of a partnership. The commission may make or direct themaking of such investigations within or without the state, as maybe necessary for the performance of its duties under sections301.271 to 301.279. If any owner or operator of motor vehiclesshall file any false report or give false information called foror required under sections 301.271 to 301.279, the commissionshall have power to suspend or revoke any or all reciprocity asto such owner or operator. The commission may make andpromulgate such rules and regulations as may be necessary toeffectively carry out its duties under sections 301.271 to301.279.
