301.703. It shall be unlawful for any person to own anall-terrain vehicle in this state unless a certificate ofownership has been issued as herein provided. Application for acertificate of ownership shall be made within thirty days afterthe applicant acquires the all-terrain vehicle, or within onehundred twenty days after April 19, 1988, whichever is later.
