Head of displacing agency may provide dwellings--comparablereplacement housing.

305.615. 1. If a program or project undertaken by adisplacing agency cannot proceed on a timely basis becausecomparable replacement dwellings are not available, and the headof the displacing agency determines that such dwelling cannototherwise be made available, the head of the displacing agencymay take such action as is necessary or* appropriate to providesuch dwellings by use of funds authorized for such project. Thehead of the displacing agency may use this section to exceed themaximum amounts which may be paid under section 305.606 on acase-by-case basis for good cause as determined in accordancewith such regulations as the head of the lead agency shallissue.

2. No person shall be required to move from his dwelling onaccount of any program or project undertaken by a federal agencyor with federal financial assistance, unless the head of thedisplacing agency is satisfied that comparable replacementhousing is available to such person.
