Single-beam headlamps--intensity, adjustment--violation, penalty.

307.055. 1. Approved single-beam headlamps shall be so aimed thatwhen the vehicle is not loaded none of the high-intensity portion of thelight shall at a distance of twenty-five feet ahead project higher than alevel of five inches below the level of the center of the lamp from whichit comes, and in no case higher than forty-two inches above the level onwhich the vehicle stands at a distance of seventy-five feet ahead. Theintensity shall be sufficient to reveal persons and vehicles at a distanceof at least two hundred feet.

2. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 307.120, violation ofthis section shall be deemed an infraction.
