411.383. Every licensed warehouseman who issues warehousereceipts shall maintain at his place of business a warehousereceipt register containing the duplicate copy of all issuedreceipts, each by consecutive number. Upon cancellation of areceipt, the original shall be retained in the warehouseman'sfiles attached to its duplicate. After cancellation neither theoriginal nor the duplicate shall be removed from the files.
