Warehouseman liable for conversion, when.

411.523. Where a warehouseman delivers the grain to one whois not in fact lawfully entitled to the possession of it, thewarehouseman shall be liable as for conversion to all having aright of property or possession in the grain if he delivered thegrain otherwise than as authorized by subdivisions (2) and (3) ofsection 411.511, and though he delivered grain as authorized bythat section he shall be liable if prior to the delivery he hadeither been requested by or on behalf of the person lawfullyentitled to a right of property of possession in the grain not tomake the delivery, or had information that the delivery about tobe made was to one not lawfully entitled to possession of thegrain.
