38-1505. Practice offitting hearing instruments, defined.Practice of fitting hearing instruments meansthe measurement of human hearing by means of an audiometer or by other meansapproved by the board solely for the purpose of making selections, adaptations,or sale of hearing instruments. The term alsoincludes the making of impressions for earmolds. A dispenser, at the requestof a physician or a member of related professions, may make audiograms forthe professional's use in consultation with the hard-of-hearing.
