48-2803. Statewide strategic plan; development;nonprofit organization.The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Task Force, in consultationwith the Executive Board of the Legislative Council, shall commission a nonprofitorganization to provide research, analysis, and recommendations for the developmentof the statewide strategic plan. The nonprofit organization shall be incorporatedpursuant to the Nebraska Nonprofit Corporation Act, shall be organized exclusivelyfor nonprofit purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the InternalRevenue Code, shall be engaged in activities to facilitate and promote thegrowth of potential high-growth businesses within the state, and shall bededicated to the development and growth of the entrepreneurial economy. Itis the intent of the Legislature that forty-eight thousand dollars of GeneralFunds be appropriated to the Legislative Council to provide funding for theNebraska Innovation and High Wage Employment Act.
