60-3,162. Certificate of registration; illegal issuance; revocation.The department shall, upon a sworn complaint in writing of any person, investigate whether a certificate of registration has been issued on a motor vehicle or trailer exceeding the length, height, or width provided by law or issued contrary to any law of this state. If the department determines from the investigation that such certificate of registration has been illegally issued, it shall have power to revoke such certificate of registration.
