60-4,147.02. Hazardousmaterials endorsement; USA PATRIOT Act requirements.No endorsementauthorizing the driver to operate a commercial motor vehicle transportinghazardous materials shall be issued, renewed, or transferred by the Departmentof Motor Vehicles unless the endorsement is issued, renewed, or transferredin conformance with the requirements of section 1012 of the federal Unitingand Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Interceptand Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001, USA PATRIOT Act, 49 U.S.C. 5103a, includingall amendments and federal rules and regulations adopted and promulgated pursuantthereto as of January 1, 2010, for the issuance oflicenses to operate commercial motor vehicles transporting hazardous materials.
