79-298. Student organizations; accounting of money; use.Money received by organizations referred to in section 79-297 shall be remitted to the State Treasurer for credit to the State Department of Education Cash Fund. Each organization shall have a separate account within such fund, and money received by such organization shall be credited to such separate account. Money in the account may be used for student organization expenditures which include, but are not limited to, trophies, gifts to honorees, scholarships, prizes, national dues, entertainment at state conferences, food, and beverages.
