79-527.01. Truancy Intervention Task Force;created; members; duties; report.(1) The Truancy Intervention Task Force is created. Thetask force shall consist of:(a) The probationadministrator or his or her designee;(b) The Commissioner of Education or hisor her designee; and(c) The chief executive officer of the Department of Health andHuman Services or his or her designee.(2) The task force shall study and evaluatethe data contained in the reports required by subsection (2) of section 79-527and shall develop recommendations to reduce incidents of excessive absenteeism.The task force may contact a school district or a county attorney for additionalinformation. The task force shall report to the Legislature on or before July1, 2011, and each July 1 thereafter. SourceLaws 2010, LB800, § 37.Effective Date: July 15, 2010
