8-1014. Violations; penalty.If any person to whom the Nebraska Sale of Checks and Funds Transmission Act applies, or any agent or representative of such person, violates any provision of the act or attempts to transact the business of selling or issuing checks without having first obtained a license from the director pursuant to the act, such person and each such agent or representative shall be guilty of a Class III misdemeanor.
