81-1429. Law EnforcementImprovement Fund; how funded. A Law Enforcement Improvement Fund fee of twodollars shall be taxed as costs in each criminal proceeding, including trafficinfractions and misdemeanors, filed in all courts of this state for violationsof state law or city or village ordinances. No such fee shall be collectedin any juvenile court proceeding or when waived under section 29-2709. Suchfee shall be remitted to the State Treasurer on forms prescribed by the StateTreasurer within ten days after the close of each calendar quarter. The StateTreasurer shall credit the money to the Law Enforcement Improvement Fund.
