81-201.05. Weed BookCash Fund; created; use; investment.(1) The WeedBook Cash Fund is created. On July1, 2005, July 1, 2006, July 1, 2007, July 1, 2008, and July 1, 2009, if thereare sufficient funds available, twenty-five thousand dollars shall be transferredfrom the Weed Book Cash Fund to the Noxious Weed Cash Fund. Transfers may be made from the Weed Book Cash Fund to theGeneral Fund at the direction of the Legislature. Any money inthe Weed Book Cash Fund available for investment shall be invested by thestate investment officer pursuant to the Nebraska Capital Expansion Act andthe Nebraska State Funds Investment Act.(2) The sale price of each Weeds of the Great Plains booksold by the Department of Agriculture shall be credited as follows:(a) Seventy-five percent to the Weed Book Cash Fund to aidin defraying the cost of publishing, preparing, and distributing such booksand any supplemental inserts to such books; and(b) Twenty-five percent to the Noxious Weed Cash Fund.
