81-2514. State assistance to political subdivisions;Designated Collection Fund; created; use; investment; commission; seek andaccept funds.(1)The State Treasurer shall for FY2010-11 transfer on July 15, 2010, twenty-fivethousand dollars from the General Fund to the Designated Collection Fund whichis hereby created. Any money in the fund available for investment shall beinvested by the state investment officer pursuant to the Nebraska CapitalExpansion Act and the Nebraska State Funds Investment Act.(2) The commissionmay accept and shall actively seek, for the needs listed in section 81-2510,any and all grants, donations, gifts, or contributions from public or privatesources. Any such grants, donations, gifts, or contributions shall be depositedin the Designated Collection Fund and shall only be expended as provided insections 81-2509 to 81-2515.
