81-8,187. Board; members; term.The term of office of the members appointed to the board shall be for five years and until their successors are appointed and qualified, except that of the members first appointed, one shall be appointed for one year, one for two years, one for three years, one for four years, and one for five years. The layperson appointed to the board shall serve a five-year term. As their terms expire, their successors shall be appointed for a term of five years.
