83-963. Department; annual report; contents.The department shall prepare an annual report on committed offenders who are paroled or granted controlled release pursuant to the Correctional System Overcrowding Emergency Act. The report shall summarize each such former committed offender's behavior since parole and generally evaluate his or her success or lack of success in becoming a law-abiding member of society. The annual report shall be filed with the Executive Board of the Legislative Council on or before December 31, with the first such report submitted by December 31 of the first year that committed offenders are paroled pursuant to the act. A notice of the filing of the report shall be submitted to each member of the Legislature when the annual report is filed with the Executive Board. SourceLaws 2003, LB 46, § 49.
