§1‑223.  Against married persons.

In an action brought by oragainst a married person, judgment may be given against such married person forcosts or damages or both, to be levied and collected solely out of such marriedperson's separate estate or property. (Rev., s. 563; C.S., s. 603;1977, c. 545.)
