§1‑36.  Title presumed out of State.

In all actions involving thetitle to real property title is conclusively deemed to be out of the Stateunless it is a party to the action, but this section does not apply to thetrials of protested entries laid for the purpose of obtaining grants, nor toactions instituted prior to May 1, 1917. (1917, c. 195; C.S., s. 426.)
