§1‑567.52.  Language.

(a)        The parties mayagree on the language or languages to be used in the arbitral proceedings.  Ifthe parties do not agree, the arbitral tribunal shall determine the language orlanguages to be used in the proceedings.  This agreement or determination,unless otherwise specified therein, shall apply to any written statement by aparty, any hearing and any award, decision, or other communication by thearbitral tribunal.

(b)        The arbitraltribunal may order that any documentary evidence shall be accompanied by atranslation into the language or languages agreed upon by the parties ordetermined by the arbitral tribunal.

(c)        The arbitraltribunal may employ one or more translators at the expense of the parties. (1991,c. 292.)
