§1‑567.65.  Confirmation and enforcement of awards.

Subject to the relevantprovisions of federal law or any applicable international agreement in forcebetween the United States of America and any other nation or nations, uponapplication of a party, the superior court shall confirm an arbitral award,unless it finds grounds for modifying or vacating the award under G.S. 1‑567.64. An award shall not be confirmed unless the time for correction andinterpretation of awards prescribed by G.S. 1‑567.63 shall have expiredor been waived by all the parties.  Upon the granting of an order confirming,modifying, or correcting an award, judgment or decree shall be entered inconformity therewith and enforced as any other judgment or decree.  Thesuperior court may award costs of the application and of the subsequentproceedings.
