§104E‑11. Inspections, agreements, and educational programs.
(a) Authorizedrepresentatives of the Department shall have the authority to enter upon anypublic or private property, other than a private dwelling, at all reasonabletimes for the purpose of determining compliance with the provisions of thisChapter and rules, regulations and standards adopted hereunder.
(b) After approval bythe Commission, the Governor is authorized to enter into agreements with thefederal government, other states, or interstate agencies, whereby this Statewill perform on a cooperative basis with the federal government, other states,or interstate agencies, inspections, emergency response to radiation accidents,and other functions related to the control of radiation.
(c) The Department isauthorized to institute educational programs for the purpose of training oreducating persons who may possess, use, handle, transport, or serviceradioactive materials or radiation machines. (1975, c. 718, s. 1.)
