§105‑131.5.  Part‑year resident shareholder.

If a shareholder of an SCorporation is both a resident and nonresident of this State during any taxableperiod, the shareholder's pro rata share of the S Corporation's incomeattributable to the State and income not attributable to the State for thetaxable period shall be further prorated between the shareholder's periods ofresidence and nonresidence, in accordance with the number of days in eachperiod, as provided in G.S. 105‑134.5. (1987 (Reg. Sess., 1988), c.1089, s. 1; 1989, c. 728, ss. 1.33, 1.35.)
