The State Highway Patrol andlaw enforcement officers and other appropriate personnel in the Department ofCrime Control and Public Safety may assist the Department of Revenue inenforcing Subchapter V of this Chapter and Article 3 of Chapter 119 of theGeneral Statutes. The State Highway Patrol and law enforcement officers of theDepartment of Crime Control and Public Safety have the power of peace officersin matters concerning the enforcement of Subchapter V of this Chapter andArticle 3 of Chapter 119 of the General Statutes.
