The cost of inspection rendered under the requirements of this Article,shall be borne by this State, except as provided in G.S. 106‑549.52 andexcept that the cost of overtime and holiday work performed in establishments subjectto the provisions of this Article, at such rates as the Commissioner maydetermine shall be borne by such establishments. Sums received by theDepartment of Agriculture and Consumer Services in reimbursement for sums paidout for such premium pay work shall be available without fiscal year limitationto carry out the purposes of this section.
