§ 108A‑50.1.  SpecialNeeds Adoptions Incentive Fund.

(a)        There is created aSpecial Needs Adoptions Incentive Fund to provide financial assistance tofacilitate the adoption of certain children residing in licensed foster carehomes. These funds shall be used to remove financial barriers to the adoptionof these children and shall be available to foster care families who adoptchildren with special needs, as defined by the Social Services Commission.These funds shall be matched by county funds.

(b)        This program shallnot constitute an entitlement and is subject to the availability of funds.

(c)        The Social ServicesCommission shall adopt rules to implement the provisions of this section. (2003‑284, s. 10.45.)
