Patients at an intermediate care facility or skilled nursing facilitymay take up to 60 days of therapeutic leave in any one calendar year withoutthe facility losing reimbursement under the medical assistance program,provided, however, no more than 15 consecutive days may be taken withoutapproval of the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of MedicalAssistance. Under no circumstances shall the number of Medicaid‑coveredtherapeutic leave days exceed 60 days per patient per calendar year. (1979, c. 925; 1981, c. 275, s. 1; 1985 (Reg.
