§ 10B‑23.  Improperrecords.

(a)        A notary shall notnotarize a signature on a record without a notarial certificate indicating whattype of notarial act was performed. However, a notary may administer an oath oraffirmation without completing a jurat.

(b)        A notary shallneither certify, notarize, nor authenticate a photograph. A notary may notarizean affidavit regarding and attached to a photograph. (2005‑391, s. 4; 2006‑59,s. 13.)
