Subject to the approval of the Governor and Council of State, state‑ownedlands may be dedicated as a nature preserve. State‑owned lands shall bededicated by allocation pursuant to the provisions of G.S. 143‑341(4)g.Lands dedicated pursuant to this section may be removed from dedication uponthe approval of the Governor and Council of State.
