The State Board of Educationshall propose a State school technology plan that ensures the effective use oftechnology is built into the North Carolina Public School System for thepurpose of preparing a globally competitive workforce and citizenry for the21st century. The Commission on School Technology will advise the State Boardof Education on the State School Technology Plan and its components. (1993, c. 321, s. 135(a);1993 (Reg.
