Part 7.  Extended Services Programs.

§ 115C‑238.30.  Purpose.

The General Assembly believes that all children can learn.  It is theintent of the General Assembly that the mission of the public school communityis to challenge with high expectations each child to learn, to achieve, and tofulfill his or her potential.  With that mission as a guide, local schooladministrative units are encouraged to provide timely assistance to studentswho are at risk of school failure through the extended services programsdescribed in this Part. (1993, c. 132.)
